I actually had a MAGA supporter tell me last weekend that diesel fuel hitting an all-time high at over $6 was not a big deal, because he and most Americans drive gasoline or electric cars. Huh????? I didn&#39;t waste my time explaining that nearly all the freight moved across the country is dependent on diesel to power it. I realized even then that I would have a better chance getting my dog to understand that then I would have with a cult member. Sigh

in 2001 when i got married a low mortge rate was 7 to 8 percent,most had 13 percent,it was only after 911 then under obama the housing market crash with sub prime loans that the rate dropped to around 5.4 and we were told that hadnt happened the rate wasnt that low since the 1930s,and within 2 years it dropped again to 4.2 we obviously refinanced took advantage,so this mortgage rate at present is excellent concidering new home buyers even at a minimum wage job make more than we did back in the day,its all relevant,the idea of rates dropping to again or lower is unrealistic,but remeber investment rates are going up again so if you invest your looking at better returns so this is still a good rte all concidering for a fixed 30 year mortgage
