I really want to know, because I see plenty of them in funny YouTube videos: Why <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzMAPc4ucKQ&amp;t=36">0:36</a> ? Why are American houses built like that? Someone is just looking for something in the attic, and the next thing you see is is him bursting through the ceiling like its made of cardboard. Are these really the quality standards of US homes? (Writing from my living room of an 1892-built brick house that survived two world wars.💥😁).
