The Senate judicial hearing of Jack Smith tells you so much about how MAGA politicians actual operate. It was all there:<br>Framed for a narrative. They probably hoped that Jack Smith would plead the fifth here and there, so senators and the MAGA fans could construct their own narratives and conspiracy theories around the blanks.<br>Incompetence 1. They didn't anticipate that Smith would answer ALL QUESTIONS. That made the first line already very difficult.<br>Incompetence 2. Perjury trap. You have to be really, really prepared to lay those especially when your witness is a prosecutor themselves. They weren't and Eric Schmitt was the worst epic embarrassment imaginable and probably the worst one ever made in the senate since these hearings are recorded.<br>Prejudice. When searching for a Basketball game they automatically went for male sports, it is hilarious that the representatives of the party who talk about 'what is a woman' all the time clearly have so much disdain for women's sport that they didn't take that in account.<br>Lack of strategy (for step 2, 3). The whole idea was that by showing Jack Smith was in Atlanta (which he wasn't) on the 3rd, that that would then point automatically to a meeting with Fani Willis, which is already ridiculous and that that would then point to something nefarious. Which is even more ridiculous. The whole thing was setup such that the MAGA networks would concoct a conspiracy theory based on Smith's answers. Because Schmitt had literally nothing.<br>Unwillingness to accept you are wrong when you clearly were. Schmitt still pretends that he was 'just asking questions'. Anybody who has seen the hearing has seen the smirk from Schmitt when he thought Smith had perjured himself.<br><br>Vote these amateur, incompetent and dishonest babies out and get professionals in. MAGA is not up to the task as is outlined above.
