Extreme flooding wreaks havoc in North West

Police divers in North West are working around the clock in the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District in the North West to rescue motorists trapped in their vehicles and individuals who were swept away while attempting to cross flooded roads. Police say while no casualties have been reported community members are requested to exercise extreme caution around overflowing dams, rivers, and flooded roads, following heavy rainfall.
