Stranded whale released in North Sea after dramatic Baltic coast rescue

A humpback whale stranded for weeks in shallow waters near Germany has finally been released into the North Sea.

The young whale, nicknamed Timmy or Hope, was guided into a floating barge and transported from the Baltic Sea in a rescue operation that captured national attention.
