Milan Fashion Week is increasingly becoming a showcase not only for Chinese designers but for the Chinese textile industry itself.
Keqiao, China's largest textile district, is back at Milan Fashion Week for the third year running, with four emerging Chinese designers presenting SS27 collections and 10 textile companies making their debut at WHITE Milano with a dedicated pavilion.
The shift is significant.
Chinese textile centers are increasingly coming directly to Milan to market their own technology, materials and creative capabilities.
