Literally no one should be shocked anymore with church abuse scandals - it's just what they do.

Too many people think priests are perfect. <br>We need to realize there are bad people in ALL professions and we all need to get rid of them, not protect them.

It is ridiculous that every time a pope goes to some place in Europe, people start with the same accusations of sexual abuse by members of the Church, even when popes such as saint John Paul II, Benedict XVI, Francis and Leo XIV have already manifested regret for what happened to the victms. Why all this fuss? <br><br>Why don't these people do same thing when a doctor, a teacher, a police-officer, a politician commit the same crime every single day? Why not criticize medicine, education, politics and the law-enforcement for sexual abuse crimes committed by their members?<br><br>But no, these people insist on criticizing only the Church for the abuses committed by some of its members. <br><br>It is vrey hypocritical.
