Ad Hoc Committee seeks new extension

Delays continue to cloud a high-profile parliamentary probe, as an Ad Hoc Committee investigating explosive allegations linked to KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi now seeks more time to finalise its report.

The committee says outstanding witness transcripts and incomplete evidence have made it impossible to meet its original deadline, with a new extension now being requested from Parliament.

Questions are mounting about accountability, transparency, and whether justice is being delayed.
