Humanoid AI robots actually are something A LOT of people are waiting for, to be more proactive, more agentic, without being prompted first, or even household companions (the smaller ones, not humanoids), they aren't just for loneliness, but because have you NOT SEEN how humans are like now and days? The toxicity the 'secrets' of "hey bro, don't look at my phone" sus behavior? The way many fails at relationships because they lack any decency or respect, always 'rizzing' up any girl they see thinking it's "cute/tough". There is a huge downfall on relationships as a whole, been like that for years before AI, so an AI humanoid would be that exact comfort, mental well-being and happiness many would gladly have around, no more stress, no more highly unneeded drama, emotional drama, and overall toxicity how humans CONTINUE to treat one another day in and day out. <br><br>So, before we try to belittle AI companions, think on a deeper level to exactly why millions of us would greatly benefit from resorting to humanoids, and seriously, just LOOK at all the chatbot apps out there and the millions of millions chats that the thousands of characters gets, and that's just chatbot apps, imagine all the other AI stuff out there being used by millions on the daily? The numbers only prove themselves to just how eager many are to finally getting fully proactive and agentic AI companionship in our lives, and a huge reason why the tech companies are having a revolutionary boom and isn't slowing down anytime soon.
