I know all things change but that room with it’s super WOW wallpaper was a great inspiration..<br>I can understand that your husband wanted something else, but today pink is great for men and the birds are the symbol of happiness, peace and a long life..So that’s a shame to get rid off too..<br><br>..I’m sorry..I am too attached to that old room with it’s quirkyness and playfullness!<br>(So many rooms today are grown up and boring!!-and your room was a very very nice exception!)

I love the new color of the chair, but I'm concerned that it might not be colorfast and ruin your clothing. Like i.e. I'd had cheap leather bags in the past that transferred the color to my shirt (at the shoulderstrap & the hips, "aided" by me sweating - so water+heat...) Did you check for that?

While the victorian gothic is more my style, I feel like the direction you are going with the rooms fits better with the overall style of your home. Can't wait to see the finished space.

The chair looks great! But I was a little sad about you making it darker because the original color matches Kenobi so well. And yes, I'm sad about the wall paper and the change in the shelving but also excited. I'm doing a major furniture shift in my house and I have a feeling I'll learn some good things watching what you're doing in your study.
