Yeah you cheated at 3:33 when you still drilled the hole slant with the tool and off-camera replaced it with a perpendicular hole and a changed saw dust pattern.

Fake, -1, and Blocked.

Don't waste people's time.
Btw, you dont need your way to big tool. Just use a block of LEGOs

What a FAIL! The board being drilled at 3:30 with his 'tool' is different than the board revealed just seconds later at 3:38. His first attempt perfectly demonstrated the failure of his 'solution'.

To save time....he makes an overbuilt sanding block/jig for getting 90 degrees when drilling. The sandpaper is glued on the sanding block...so really good for 1 use of sanding paper unless you want to go through peeling off the glued sandpaper. Most drills have a level to get the 90 degrees.

Even better just use a block (double the thickness) use a drill press with the diameter bit you want to use and drill through your block then use that to get a straight drill hole with your cordless you can drill a bunch of holes for different drill bit sizes.

I get what you are going for but that arguably cost more in material than an actual drill jig, they are literally $5 on Amazon or eBay 😮‍💨 not only that but are you gonna make another one every time the sandpaper is done or just plan on glueing more overtop?
@KototeAlta
@@KototeAlta7 months ago
Maybe you're not married but if you are, I wonder how your wife feels about the cuts and scratches it looks like you've put on the wood floors? I could be wrong but it looks like you're doing woodwork on the floors inside the house, not on a work bench outside or in a garage or out building. Just to be clear, whether they're a man or a woman, I'd skin that person alive for doing woodwork inside the house, on the floors and ruining them for videos! Not only is that being financially irresponsible, it's putting strangers and their entertainment above one's home and family. Even if that person made money on the video, one day they'd still have to PAY to replace the floors they ruined with the videos. That's a needless expense. An astute person will look to the future and not let their present self stieel their hard-earned income from the videos by being irresponsible now. Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree. If I am, I apologize.
