LGE 2026 | More youth participation in voting can reshape political power: Malema

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has warned that the future of young people is being destroyed right in front of their eyes, urging them to act by registering to vote.

Malema encouraged eligible voters to make use of the remaining registration window, warning that the updated voters’ roll could reshape political power if more youth participate.

He briefed the media Sunday afternoon during voter registration campaign in Sebokeng, outside of Johannesburg.
