It is agesin that is more scary for older workers and not just the labour market.I remembered when I was retrenched in my forties and when I started looking for another jobs in the same lines doing the same jobs as I am doing most of the
employers don't want to hire because of my age. One receptionist in a company
even told me that her boss told her not to entertain anyone above thirty years old
only those in their twenties even they got experiences for years doing the same job.
And when you have a family of five to feed and all are in school and one in university
and your wife is a homemaker and you got no saving, you will know how desperate
yours situation is. No wonder now Singaporean are scare to have children.
And they STILL DARE TO RAISE THEIR ALREADY SUPER HIGH SALARIES???
No wonder even Canto Tan excused himself and put a lau kway bu there.
What on earth are the locals thinking???
But then...
Like someone did say.
The voters deserved the gov they VOTED FOR!
And only 2 words from me.
SONG BOH?🤭
And the gov can pay themselves so well...
