Trump says Iran has ‘made strides, but not enough' towards a deal

Trump speaks to reporters about the latest developments with Iran, which recently submitted a new proposal via Pakistan. Trump said, "Iran wants to make a deal, but I’m not satisfied with it, so we’ll see what happens.” Trump added that Iran has “made strides” towards a deal, but that he’s not sure if “they ever get there." Regarding a potential new round of in-person talks in Pakistan, Trump said the US has “great respect” for Pakistan and its leaders, but that “the trip is a very long one." He said all negotiations right now are taking place by phone.
