Costums won't take your gum unless you have enough for them to suspect that you're tryna sell it. 1-3 packs is completely fine.

Heavy ass fines for littering tho. It's why they banned the sale of it in the first place.

I just agree with littering and the bathrooms everything else is just dumb you basically have no freedom to do anything

Singapore is extremely bland, dour, and lacking in character. Sure you've got the ethnic towns and food, but that appears more artificial than organic. There are far more interesting places to visit in South East Asia than this floating shopping mall.

Singapore is the Finest city in the world. The Singapore Government banned bubble gums because they abuse it They throw it on the floors, stick it on the theatre seats and also stick it on the train doors etc; etc;

It's not strict and the gum rule is because in the past, people kept on chewing gum and throwing it everywhere, causing bubble gum to get stuck onto shoes.

correction:
Flavoured air:
This flavoured air Is called VAPES! it is illegal. schools has addressed this. if u vape. There is something called Nicotine inside the vape and will always make u want to vape more Oh ye, Luckily, there are rehabilitation centres in Singapore to help u stop. If you Give up and surrender vaping. No punishment(I think). Just Rehab to help u stop, One more thing is that if ur caught vaping you might have the cane. vape confiscated, Fined, Jail, or worst. DEATH PENALTY. yes. That's the least anyone's wants.
The end
(IM A SINGAPOREAN BTW!)

Not strange, just preventive measures. Works like Sharia law, just a deterrence 😅 please don't find these rules strange if you are one who doesn't litter, who flushes your toilet after using it, who doesn't stick your gum everywhere after chewing it. The government wants to make sure that the air is not polluted all over (we have designated smoking points though), and doesn't want our youths to be addicted to drugs (there have been vapes laced with etomidates & reports of young people dying from vaping those). So, the laws are out in place for deterrence people, don't be too afraid.
