Memorial services have been held across the US to mark 25 years since the September 11 terror attacks.
Four former US presidents including Bill Clinton, George W Bush, Barack Obama and Joe Biden attended commemorations at Ground Zero in New York City, while the incumbent Donald Trump used his speech at the Pentagon memorial to justify his war on Iran.
This year’s service at the twin tower collapses saw an unprecedented seventh minute of silence to pay respects to the more than 9,000 people who have died from illnesses linked to toxic dust and debris from the attacks.
