North West | Delareyville blind farmer calls for govt assistance

A 47-year-old blind farmer from Delareyville in the North West province, is calling on government to assist him with farming equipment.

The Department of Land Reform provided him with a farm near Geysdorp in 2016.

He says during the handing over ceremony, the department promised to also provide him with other resources, including planting equipment and fencing but that has not happened.

He says some of the cattle donated by government, were stolen due to the lack of fencing on the farm.
