LGE 2026 | Barberton Community Party says it wants to bring change to Mbombela

A new political party is entering the election race in Mpumalanga.

The Barberton Community Party will contest the local government elections across the City of Mbombela.

The party says service delivery has deteriorated since the former Umjindi Municipality was merged with Mbombela in 2016.

Barberton Community Party wants Umjindi Municipality reinstated.

The party launched its manifesto and announced councillor and mayoral candidates.
