Itโs wild how hypocritical the media is being. When Meta dropped their first smart glasses in 2021, and the newer ones in 2023, everyone was praising the tech. But now that they're mainstream, they're calling them "pervert glasses"? Camera frames aren't even newโwe've had spy glasses since the 2000s and Snapchat Spectacles since 2016. The reality is, with how sue-happy people are today, going around without some kind of body cam is just a liability. Give it until 2030, and a personal Ring body cam will just be a standard everyday carry item.

This is complete bullshit. It's legal to film in a public space, and no consent is necessary regarding posting to social media. You have no say in this. In this case it's basic reporting.
I donโt know about the UK, but in many US states itโs 100% legal to record conversations with others without their consent. Itโs called one-party consent and has been used in many undercover exposรฉs.

Smart glasses have only been around for a few years where a smartphones have been around for 15 years I don't hear anybody calling smartphones pervert phones.
