SA marks 25th anniversary of Durban Declaration

Twenty-five years ago, the world gathered in Durban to confront racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and intolerance.

The outcome was the adoption of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action at the World Conference Against Racism.

Today, South Africa marked the anniversary of that landmark framework, with a dialogue in Pretoria, reflecting on progress made, and the challenges that remain.
