US marks 25th anniversary of 9/11 terrorist attacks

The US is marking the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Almost 3 000 people died in the attacks, including two South Africans.

This year there's renewed focus on the thousands of people who died from illness in the years following the worst terror attacks on US soil.
