Mother of 9/11 hero 'man in the red bandana' speaks out

Her son, Welles Crowther, became known as the "Man in the Red Bandana" and has been honored for his bravery and heroism on September 11, including being posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom this week.

Alison Crowther spoke with CNN's Pamela Brown about her son's legacy, and shared a memory from days before 9/11 when she had questioned why he still carried his trusty bandana.
