Trump turned me against billionaires.
Sweet dreams, the gap in wealth is already to big, normal people are to busy just putting food on the table.
What extreme left? The people that believe in treating everyone fairly, and with dignity? That extreme left??
My country did this, but one step further. It nationalised all the banks, manufacturing and factories. It set back my countries progress by 40 years. Profitable factories that exported finished goods to Europe and the US, shut down within 5-10 years, credit cycle became extremely sluggish and modernization never happened. It took the threat of the country defaulting on it's external debt to wake us up. <br><br>EU is going to find out what everyone else knows, billionaires might be bad but the alternative is so much worst.
The problem is that these authors are underestimating how good billionaires and corporations can manipulate public opinion and overestimate how intelligent your average voter is.
The root of all evil is money.

All billionaires need to be removed out of existance, or if they want to live give up 99% of their wealth. All billionaires need to be removed for the greater good of humanity. <br>Times were better in/during the 60s-90s, wonder why? Because there was far less billionaires. <br><br>So we get rid of the billionaires and regulate that there is no single person or family worth over 1 billion or else they have to "reset" and give 99% of their wealth to things like healthcare or road maintenance, green future etc.
Billionaires should not exist; laws and taxes should be in place that prevents anyone from amounting such wealth, because with it comes power and influence.
