SAFA top seat race heats up

Supporters of Sandile Zungu are claiming that underhand tactics are being used to ensure Danny Jordaan retains the SAFA presidency at tomorrow's Elective Congress.

National Convenor of Save our SAFA, Lebogang Riet, says some regions, which weren't in good standing, held their elections at the last minute to allow their delegates to attend the gathering and vote for Jordaan.

Save our SAFA is a reform group that wants leadership change, and supports Zungu.

But the Football Transformation Forum, which supports Jordaan, says there's no need for unlawful tactics, as they have the numbers to secure Jordaan's fourth term.
