Die EU ist ja jetzt "böse" und ich habe den Eindruck man wünscht sich die Kleinstaaterei zurück, dann wird alles besser.

It's because you take money from people who work hard and give it to people who don't deserve it, thereby disincentivizing hard work and productivity.

Two major reasons:

1/ Slower productivity and technological innovation, fragmented markets, high taxes and regulation, expensive energy, aging populations, weaker venture-capital markets, and relatively low investment in strategic industries.

2/ Europe is caught between American dominance in high-value digital technology and Chinese strength in increasingly sophisticated physical industries.

The Reason is High Labour costs. Inflated labour costs increase overall product's cost. China, Taiwan , Korea Vietnam Produce Same high quality at fraction of EU's cost.
EU played monopoly till early 2000's as other nations technology didnt match EU

Same thing happened during the Industrial Revolution. While the US charged ahead Europe clung to antiquity and left behind. Adapt or die

Simply put economies of scale only work with better integrated markets and the EU for all its single market promises ruins its market benefits by having too many regulations for an imported product to be sold there. And the regulations other than quality standards are too many. Hence the EU will loose its market size benefits unless regulations are rationalised to current real world levels

By far Richest country in the EU is Germany. If Germany was a state in America, it would be Mississippi poorest state in America, per capita GDP income that’s how poor the EU is with over regulation global carbon nonsense, no energy and woke. Now their broke.

You mean why are 90% of Europeans poorer than they should be? Same reason as the US and globally. Capitalism. The people at the top hoarding all of the wealth for themselves. It's all a giant scam.
