THE LEGACY OF 9/11: 25 YEARS AFTER THE TRAGEDY
Twenty-five years ago today, the September 11 terror attacks killed nearly 3 thousand people and changed the course of American foreign policy. Eight Poles were among those killed. In New York, the Twin Towers have been recreated in light, as the world remembers the victims and the legacy of 9/11.

RUSSIAN ATTACKS, UKRAINIAN RETALIATION
Russia is stepping up attacks on Ukraine’s fuel and food supply networks, raising fears of further disruption ahead of winter. Ukraine is also striking deeper inside Russia in retaliation. Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has arrived in Kyiv, days after warning Moscow is still rejecting ceasefire offers.

PUTIN FORCED TO IMPORT FUEL
Ukrainian attacks are forcing Russia to import gasoline produced abroad from its own crude. The Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air says Moscow’s oil export revenues have also fallen by one eighth.
