The failing is not an excuse. If guilty then guilty. We cannot make this kind of excuse for murder. The help is desperately needed but accountability was also needed. Help could have been a part of the sentencing process. I do not excuse or support these jurors. They are the ones who failed Linsey and her children.

The 11 jurors completely missed what was to be accomplished by the trial. Lindsay admittedly killed her children. Yes she was failed, but that was not her only solution.
