#Train chaos hits #Poland as drivers #protest after fatal level-crossing #crash

Polish train drivers launched a nationwide go-slow protest on Friday to demand stronger safety measures after a fatal level-crossing crash, throwing around one in three trains into delays during the morning rush.

According to Poland’s Passenger Portal, the national railway passenger information service, only 70% of trains in transit were running on time as of 7AM on Friday, while 14 trains had been cancelled, with no reason given for the cancellations.
