True Fitness, True Yoga to close in Singapore citing competition, rising costs

True Fitness and True Yoga outlets across Singapore were closed on Friday (Sep 11), with notices of closures or forfeited tenancies outside outlets. The abrupt closure caught members by surprise, with several turning up at outlets to confirm the news. The businesses' Hong Kong parent company said the gyms are set to wind up, citing "fierce" market competition and rising costs in attracting customers.
