This may be an unpopular opinion but: I think her parents need to be held partly accountable for her death. Because wtf do you mean your kid keeps running away, YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHERE TF SHE IS or AT LEAST have an idea, and you do NOTHING to go get her or get eyes on her??? Yea, she came back once via Uber/Lyft FROM DAVID's HOUSE, but just ran away again and you or SOMEONE in your family didn't follow her or get her location from her phone or IG? There's so many ways of getting information now ESPECIALLY if the person is still a minor/dependent under your care smh 🤦🏽♀️ apparently she kept in contact with someone in her family who she probably told where she was. Most kids have someone they can trust like that smh Also, why tf did she keep running away?? This was a problem before she met David according to the parents, so why tf didn't they intervene sooner?? Something just doesn't make sense on that part because what do you mean?? Idk I can't speak directly for the parents or on parenting because I'm not a parent myself, but something seems lackluster on the parent's actions when Celeste was alive. It's clear that her relationship with her parents wasn't great or didn't appear to be great, obviously because she kept running away, but I just feel like they should've/could've done something more , and if they could have predicted her death, they certainly WOULD'VE done something, ANYTHING to get her home.

Who really filed this lawsuit? This is VERY slippery slope for Celeste’s parents because she kept running away for a reason. Celeste’s family knew where she was and what she was doing and they co-signed it. Celeste, a minor child, couldn’t legally be responsible for or consent to what she was doing because she was a minor child who was being neglected and abused by everyone she knew. Her parents have some nerve as they should have charges against them as well. This should be a RICO case, quite honestly. David’s friends & family failed him and Celeste as well. Where were the responsible adults in this situation? We haven’t come across any so far. RIP Celeste 🕊️😔
Treat the mother more as an employee of David, and this puts more burden on her than simply being a mother of an adult.
