SA embassy deploys sports diplomacy on US soil

South Africa's Embassy in Washington D.C. has rolled out the green and gold ahead of the final showdown between the Springboks and All Blacks in Baltimore for tomorrow.

SARU President Mark Alexander joined South Africa's Ambassador to the United States, Roelf Meyer, in hosting an event bringing together rugby officials, diplomats, lawmakers and business leaders — using one of the sport's greatest rivalries to showcase South Africa on American soil.
