It seems like everybody’s forgetting about us old people who are retired and have a fixed income, and can barely make it month to month on almost nothing. There are way too many of us who went through hard times and had the best intentions of saving those 401(k) that had no other choice to dip into them or deplete them completely with all the idiotic politics that we’re going on now that we’re old and retired nobody seems to think about us anymore..

I receive my social security and champ va. I buy things, pay a mortgage, pay utilities, etc. I'm not required to file taxes. A $5,000 check would be wonderful.

As a tax refund would be okay as long as it's also paid to us retirees that worked most of our lives and are now on Social Security Retirement. Getting kind of tired of being left out on bonuses, when so many of us vote Republican. Plus, we shouldn't have to wait until 2027 tax season to get it, because we need it now.
