Insiders suspected of facilitating Edward Madiba's escape

Correctional Services National Commissioner, Makgothi Thobakgale, says convicted criminal Edward Madiba, who was re-arrested after escaping from the Rooigrond Maximum Security Correctional Centre, was assisted by those inside the facility.

Madiba was re-arrested in Brits in the North West 72 hours after escaping from prison.

He is currently being kept at the Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Services in Pretoria.
