#Sikorski visits Polish #troops stationed in #Latvia

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski is visiting Polish troops stationed in Latvia alongside his Latvian counterpart. Around 230 Polish soldiers are based in Ādaži, near Riga, as part of a larger NATO multinational battle group led by Canada. The Polish contingent has been stationed in Latvia since 2017 as part of NATO’s efforts to deter Russian aggression against the Baltic states.
