The Workers&#39; Party is effectively transforming into an ethnic-based party; of its ten Members of Parliament, four are of Indian descent, and the vast majority of its core leadership are also Indian. This in itself fosters division within Singapore. Indian-origin members hold an overwhelming share of key positions and wield decisive influence within the party.<br>This phenomenon is highly unreasonable and extremely dangerous.
