The Workers' Party of Singapore is the largest opposition party, and Indian-origin individuals make up a significant portion of its supporters; 2025 polls indicate that the rapid rise in the party's support stems primarily from this demographic. Meanwhile, ministers of Indian descent account for approximately 25% of the Singaporean Cabinet. The Workers' Party is effectively transforming into an ethnic-based party; of its ten Members of Parliament, four are of Indian descent, and the vast majority of its core leadership are also Indian. This in itself fosters division within Singapore. Indian-origin members hold an overwhelming share of key positions and wield decisive influence within the party.<br>This phenomenon is highly unreasonable and extremely dangerous.
