'Thankful for the billions,' Zelenskyy tells Carney

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in Canada this week for his first visit in nearly a year as Ukraine continues to cope with an onslaught of deadly Russian airstrikes.

The visit will focus on 'shared priorities' between Canada and Ukraine, including deepening defence, economic and energy co-operation, according to a statement from Prime Minister Mark Carney.
