Transnet reports R4,6bn profit: Katlego Legodi has more

State-owned logistics giant Transnet is back in the black after reporting a financial turnaround for the financial year ended March, 2026.

Following years of consecutive losses, the utility posted a net profit of four-point-six billion Rand.

This marks a staggering 344% improvement, compared to the previous year.

Transnet leaders attribute the performance to a vital operational rebound.
