Cat Matlala Trial | Trial-within-a-trial in attempted murder case adjourned: Neria Hlakotse reports

The trial-within-a-trial in the Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala case has adjourned for the day. The court is considering whether evidence obtained during the arrest of accused number one, Musa Kekana, was lawfully obtained and can be admitted in the main trial.

Kekana is challenging the legality of his arrest and the admissibility of the evidence.

The state is expected to respond to the defence's arguments when proceedings resume.
