Protesters Urge Seoul to Reject US Call on Hormuz Mission

In Seoul, demonstrators urge the Lee Jae Myung government to reject US calls for a South Korean military deployment to the Strait of Hormuz, warning against joining a “war of aggression.”
Polls show 55% oppose sending troops and 30% are in favour, even as the strait remains vital for South Korea’s oil and petrochemical imports. Tehran has warned any Korean military role would have serious consequences.
