I have no idea what “AI take over” is supposed to mean, but one thing is certain: in mathematics, AI is nothing more than a digital book and a calculator. The sad reason why AI has now supposedly proved a Millennium Prize Problem is something else. Nowadays, every programmer and every computer-game geek is apparently allowed to meddle in the field of mathematics. They believe that proofs can be learned as easily as collecting apples in a Mario video game. That’s nonsense.

<br>Lean and these other AI methods are not mathematical proofs !!! What is sad, and what really bothers me, is that there are too many genuine mathematicians who actually support this nonsense. And when you take a closer look at some of them, they are precisely the ones who never learned propositional logic themselves. They have only ever written academic papers. They have never written formal proofs because, in reality, they never learned how to do it.
