NCRS warns against sale of illicit products

Traders selling non-compliant, illicit and unsafe goods will face heavy prosecution and possible suspension from trading anywhere in South Africa.

This follows a series of sting operations on informal and formal traders in the North West, conducted by the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications.

The aim is to seize and remove unsafe goods and hold non-compliant traders accountable.
