Trump has now promised Americans three different checks — the $2,000 tariff dividend, the $5,000 DOGE dividend, and the $5,000 midterm “Trump Dividend.” All three were publicly announced, widely reported, and repeated in speeches or posts. And none of them ever became real programs. No legislation, no IRS schedule, no payouts. Every one of them remains a political promise with zero implementation behind it.
