Public Works to brief media at Telkom Towers

In a statement, Public Works says that for more than a decade, the Telkom Towers have become a source of wasteful spending, leaving the property vacant while costing taxpayers millions of rand in maintenance and security. Today marks the beginning of significant steps towards revitalising the precinct and ensuring it delivers value for the public.

The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Dean Macpherson, is expected to brief the media on an important announcement regarding the future of the expected R2.2 billion redevelopment of the Telkom Towers Precinct.
