Iran launches largest attack in five months as US interceptors run low

Iran has launched its largest missile salvo in five months, firing roughly 20 ballistic missiles at Al-Azraq air base in Jordan, which hosts US military personnel, as the Middle East conflict flares up. The Jordanian Armed Forces said they intercepted 18 of them. The barrage comes amid growing concerns over America’s stockpile of critical missile interceptors, after a CNN report in August revealed that US forces were rapidly depleting key air-defense systems.
