This midterm convention is definitely not going according to Trump’s plan. The hall is so empty that it’s ridiculous to call it a success. The speakers are masters of make-believe—everyone knows they’re lying. Then there are the propagandists like Scott Presler (a long-haired—seemingly non-binary—male), Benny Johnson, and other right-wing influencers whom absolutely no one can take seriously.
