Global media needs to give Premier League teams respect. They are desperate to overhype Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico, Bayern, Inter and Napoli and overlook the fact the Premier League is by far the strongest league and if not for the exceptional PSG, would have clean sweeped every international club competition for years straight. <br><br>Just look at the Ballon Dor dominated by Real, Barcelona and Bayern players. Yamal is a leading favourite for the award even though Barcelona got eliminated early in the champions league and he played pretty poorly in the World Cup but is still a leading favourite because he plays for Barcelona, while Declan Rice won the best and toughest league to win in the world, got to the final of the Champions league and came 3rd in the World Cup and was a key player in every competition, but nowhere near a contender because he is English and plays in the Premier League.
