Narcotics seized at Navalsig High School

The Department of Education and the South African Police Service conducted a search and seizure operation at Navalsig High School in Bloemfontein, targeting weapons and illicit substances.

During the search, narcotics were found in one of the classrooms.

A learner was also found with more than R 1 500, which he claims is proceeds from selling sweets.

The operation is expected to be rolled out to several High Schools in Bloemfontein.
