A U.S. delegation will be visiting western regions of Poland as Washington is looking into the possibility of establishing a permanent military presence there. This comes as Poland signed a U.S. loan-guarantee deal for the purchase of American arms worth some $4 billion.

- GERMANY LOOKS TO TACKLE UKRAINIAN MILITARY-AGE MEN PROBLEM
The German foreign minister is encouraging Ukrainian military service-age men to return to the war-torn country. Berlin has offered Kyiv that it may disclose information on their whereabouts to facilitate summons.

- SERBIAN PRESIDENT CALLS FOR SNAP ELECTIONS
Serbia will hold early elections next month after the parliament has been dissolved by President Aleksandar Vučić due to a wave of anti-government protests. But as Sonja Agata Bišćan reports, a new parliament doesn’t necessarily mean that Belgrade will abandon its old ways and move closer to the EU.
