Nurses call off 43-day nationwide strike after deal with Council of Governors

Nurses have called off their42-day nationwide strike after striking a deal with the Council of Governors. The strike was shelved after the Kenya National Union of Nurses signed a return-to-work formula with the governors, ending the over one-month-long strike. The Council of Governors Chairperson Ahmed Abdullahi said the two sides have reached a mutually acceptable agreement after weeks of negotiations.
