Kenyans warned of severe floods in anticipated El Nino rains

Locals in the northern counties of Kenya have been warned to brace for possible flash floods and hostile weather conditions during the anticipated El Niño period to kick off next month. The Kenya Meteorological Department is forecasting above-average rainfall across most parts of the country during the short-rains season.
